Scandlines changing and cancellation terms for departures in 2011

 

The price of the respective tariffs is displayed in the booking dialog after entering all data. Scandlines prices vary according to season, day of travel and tariff type.

Booking is possible up to 35 days (on Puttgarden-Rødby even only 14 days) before departure.

Booking is possible until departure or buying a ticket at the Check In, as long as capacity is available for this tariff on this particular departure.

It is possible to book an open return ticket when going to/from Denmark by calling the Scandlines Service Center. This requires the home leg to booked as a Standard or Plus ticket.

Booking is possible on Puttgarden-Rødby until 5 minutes ond on Rostock-Gedser until 15 minutes before departure or buying a ticket at the Check In, as long as capacity is available for this tariff on this particular departure.

As long as the validity period is observed, a booked passage can be altered by changing to any new date, product, route or adding a return passage etc. If the online re-booking service cannot be executed, please contact our service center by telephone or email.

Cancellation is possible up to 35 days (on Puttgarden-Rødby only 14 days) prior to the booked passage in the servicecenter.

 

Cancellation fee is 50% of the ticket price.

 

No refund in a case of later cancellation.

Refunds are calculated as follows: up to 5 days prior to the first departure 100%, 1 to 4 days prior to the first departure 50%, date of passage to 3 months after the first departure 20%

Furthermore, a processing fee of 10,00 € (per ticket) is exacted from the refund sum. Amounts below 5,00 € will not be refunded. The refund will be transferred to the credit card or account used for the original payment. Refunds in cash at the Check-In or at the service center will not be given. If the online cancellation service cannot be executed, please contact our service center hotline immediately: 01805 - 11 66 99 (6 ct/call inside Germany fixed line network; german mobile prices maximum 42 ct/min) or via email for an immediate cancellation. Then send your ticket to: Scandlines Deutschland GmbH, Servicecenter, Puttgarden Fährhafen, 23769 Fehmarn. For cancellation via postal service the postal date stamp is taken as binding cancellation date.

For motorcycles, bicycles, persons and East European routes only standard cancellation tariffs are available.
